Mickey Mouse - Playful Sorcerer.

What moves the price of this card

The Mickey Mouse - Playful Sorcerer on this page is the Holofoil printing from D23 Promos, and it trades at $181.77 in near mint condition. The same name is on 2 other printings: Illumineer's Quest: Deep Trouble 225/204 at $4.22, Ursula's Return 187/204 at $1.97, so read the set, the number and the rarity together before comparing prices.

Graded, it runs PSA 8 $124.92, PSA 9 $186.27, CGC/BGS 9.5 $396.85, PSA 10 $1,170. PSA has graded 2,897 copies of it. 133 completed sales are on file.

Condition does most of the work below the surface. A copy with soft corners or a print line off centre trades well under the market price shown here, and a copy clean enough to grade trades well above it, which is why the PSA 10 sits at $1,170. Before you value your own copy, look at the corners under a light and check the centring on the back, where most cards give themselves away.
